Director at 6th Street Playhouse for many productions including SWEENEY TODD, OLIVER!, GUYS AND DOLLS, WEST SIDE STORY, LA CAGE, WHITE CHRISTMAS and CHARLIE BROWN. She was seen on stage at 6 th Street as Fraulein Schneider in CABARET, Dottie Otley in NOISES OFF, Madame Armfeldt in A LITTLE
NIGHT MUSIC and The Suspects in MURDER FOR TWO.
She will be eternally grateful to her parents for making her practice piano, organ, flute and guitar all those years and to her husband, Chuck, for his
unwavering love and support.
24-year old Hikaru Hallberg is a Sonoma County native. First introduced to the piano by his mother at age 3, Hikaru studied classical piano with organist Mark Rasmussen for 12 years, and for 5 years with Director of Piano Studies Marilyn Thompson at Sonoma State University, where he was a recipient of the Ezra G. 24-year old Hikaru Hallberg is a Sonoma County native. First introduced to the piano by his mother at age 3, Hikaru studied classical piano with organist Mark Rasmussen for 12 years, and for 5 years with Director of Piano Studies Marilyn Thompson at Sonoma State University, where he was a recipient of the Ezra G. Rust Musical Talent Scholarship, Evert B. Person Endowment Fund, and Thompson Memorial Piano Scholarship.
Hikaru is also an avid trumpet player of 17 years, holding principal positions in various Honor Bands and the SSU Symphony Orchestra. He is equally proficient in jazz idiom, most recently playing lead trumpet in the Moonlighters Swing Band in Santa Rosa. Hikaru has performed at various venues throughout California and parts of Japan, and currently works as a freelance musician and piano accompanist in Sonoma County.
Some of his piano works are featured on Telltale Games' The Walking Dead video game.
His hobbies include composing/arranging and recording music, ice skating, and spending time with his two cats.
Originally from Fremont, Jed returns to the Bay Area after decades in Seattle, bringing jazz and a new group of local musicians to Windsor.

Originally from Fremont, Jed returns to the Bay Area after decades in Seattle, bringing jazz and a new group of local musicians to Windsor.
These musicians are connecting as part of the vibrant music scene at Santa Rosa Junior College. You can also see them at upcoming music concerts on campus, check the campus events pages.
Jed draws from diverse jazz influences including repertoire from traditional to modern. You can expect to hear anything from Gershwin and Cole Porter, all the way up through Keith Jarrett, Brad Mehldau, and Robert Glasper, as well as original compositions.

John Schelling prefers to play jazz on his upright bass. Ray Brown, Paul Chambers, and Brian Bromberg are some of his favorite bassists. The Miles Davis Quintet, Chet Baker, and Wes Montgomery are some of the artists he enjoys. John studied jazz at SRJC and took lessons from local bassists Chris Amberger, Gio Benedetti, and Gary Digman.
